About Lindsey Life

Lindsey Life is a non-profit, comprehensive care provider offering home care, adult day services, home nursing, and care coordination to support independence and enhance quality of life.

Empowering Families. Enriching Lives.

At Lindsey Life, we help older adults thrive. Whether at home or in a welcoming community setting. Our goal is to make every day meaningful by providing care that supports independence while ensuring support giving families peace of mind.

From personalized home care to engaging adult day programs, we create opportunities for older adults to stay active, connected, and confident in the choices that matter most to them

Our Legacy of Care

Our roots go back to the late 1970s when ClarkLindsey opened its doors as East Central Illinois’ first nonprofit Life Plan Community, thanks to the generosity of Ethel Clark and Maud Lindsey. Their vision was simple yet powerful: create a place where older adults could thrive with care and purpose. That commitment to improving lives continues to guide us today.

Adult Day

In 1997, Circle of Friends Adult Day Center was founded by Kathy Rhoads and Carol Mauck to help older adults remain active and engaged while providing caregivers with respite. With a strong background in social work and geriatrics, they built a program that combined compassionate care with meaningful social interaction. Over the years, Circle of Friends became a trusted resource for families seeking a safe, vibrant environment for their loved ones during the day.

Home Care

In 2019, atHome Home Care & Home Nursing was launched to extend ClarkLindsey’s mission beyond its campus. This service introduced a flexible, personalized approach to home care, including flexCare, which offers more privacy and independence than traditional models. Alongside home support, atHome added skilled nursing services to meet in-home medical needs. Every relationship began with a thorough assessment, followed by a customized care plan designed to help older adults live as independently as possible at home, while supporting their holistic well-being.
